Monkey Magnets
Materials:
Small piece brown craft foam
Small piece tan craft foam
Googly eyes
Clothespin
Black marker
Magnet 1 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch
Tacky glue
Cut a body from the brown craft foam in a bowling pin shape.
Cut a head from the brown craft foam.
Cut a tail from the brown craft foam.
Cut a small oval from the tan craft foam.
Cut two small pieces for the inside of the ears from the tan craft foam.
Cut two small circles from the tan craft foam (a hole punch works great for this!) .
Glue the body to the back of the head.
Glue the tan oval where the mouth should be.
Glue the two small tan circles where the eyes should be.
Glue the tail to the back of the body at the opposite end from the head.
Glue the whole monkey to the clothespin.
Glue googly eyes on top of the tan circles.
Glue the small tan pieces onto the ears.
Draw a nose and mouth with the black marker.
Glue the magnet to the bottom of the clothespin.
*Note: If desired, an adult can cut out the mouth and nose instead of drawing it.
