All genres are welcome as long as they stay within the age requirements of our readers.

We especially like stories with morals or lessons to be learned.

What We Don't Want:

Irish's Story Playhouse does not publish profanity.

We also do not want content of a sexual nature or content which would be offensive to parents.

We do NOT publish any racially discriminating material. We will reject your story or poem if it is purposefully hurtful to any persons or groups of persons based on discrimination.

We do not publish bloody, gory stories. Horror is fine, gore is not.

The Fine Print:

All work submitted must be your original work and may not be copied in whole or in part in order to be considered.

Although the StoryTeller Tymes does print public domain work, we do not take public domain submissions from authors. Please submit only original work for our consideration.

Authors must be 18 years or older in order to submit.

Irish's Story Playhouse does not take copyright for any material submitted to us. We ask for exclusive electronic publication rights, first print rights, and audio rights for six months and an additional 12 months of non-exclusive rights. However, YOU, the author or creator, own your work.

If it is found by Irish's Story Playhouse Publications that you, the author or creator of accepted works, do not honor the contract for which your work was published after you have signed and returned the contract to the publisher, Irish's Story Playhouse Publications will ban you, the author and creator of accepted works, from being eligible for future publication with us.

Irish's Story Playhouse will archive your work after the term of 18 months. If you wish to have your work removed from the archives, you may do so by sending an email with the title of your work and the name you wrote under if different from your actual name. Work will be removed from the archives within 30 days of such a notice. Work will not be removed from the original issue in which it appeared.

Formatting is not a concern. As long as we can find your paragraphs and line breaks, we ignore formatting.

Grammar, Spelling, and Punctuation DO matter. We are very small and do not have the time or the staff to correct these for you. Please proofread your work.

You MUST return a signed contract, if offered, via postal mail or email before work can be published in the magazine.

Please include your name and the name you wish to write under, if any, with your submission. Submissions without this information will be rejected unread.

Occasionally, Irish's Story Playhouse may choose to publish an anthology. In the case of such an occurrence, you will be asked if you would like to be included if Irish's Story Playhouse is interested in your story for this purpose. Irish's Story Playhouse does not take submissions for the anthologies. All stories in an anthology must have been accepted and have appeared in The StoryTeller Tymes Web Magazine.

You as an author have a right to decide NOT to accept a contract if offered. If you choose to decline an offered contract, your submission will be deleted from all records including email records.

Authors and artists may submit more than one piece per issue for consideration.
