Turkey Door Hanger
Materials:
1 piece black craft foam
Small piece orange craft foam
Small piece red craft foam
Feathers
Glue
Yellow Tempera Paint
Paint brush
Googly eyes
Small piece of white paper
Cut a bowling pin shape from the black craft foam leaving the top square. Make sure you leave enough to put a door hole in the craft foam.
Cut a circle out of the square end so that it fits over a door knob. This is how the turkey will stay on the door.
Paint yellow dots all over the black foam. You can make these in any pattern you would like.
Glue on the googly eyes.
Cut a beak from the orange craft foam.
Cut a crown and a wattle from the red craft foam.
Glue the crown, wattle, and beak to the turkey.
Let your turkey dry.
On the back side of the turkey, glue two brown feathers for the feet of your turkey.
Glue red, yellow, and orange feathers to the sides of the turkey.
Cut an oval the size of the bottom half of your turkey.
Glue the paper over the end of the feathers so that they won't fall off when your turkey is hanging on a door.
Let dry and hang your turkey where everyone can see it.
