Salt Glitter
Here's a really inexpensive way to make glitter for your craft projects. Best of all, it only takes two very common ingredients.
For each color:
1/2 cup salt
4-8 drops of food coloring
Mix the salt with the food coloring by adding one drop at a time until you have the desired color. Then, spread the salt on cookie sheet, foil, or wax paper to dry for about three minutes.
Once dry you can store in baggies or small containers. To use, salt shakers work well.
